Pride sin and downfall
For essay 1, does anyone have some good examples of Elizabeth's pride or sin? Downfall is easy; Victor was her downfall in that he created the monster that killed her. Would sin be her hooking up with her cousin Victor? Just joking. But seriously, does it have to be her sin or pride in order to count?

It doesnt specify who's pride, sin downfall it has to be...but I'd assume you need to mainly stick with Elizabeth's situations.
An example of refusal to sin that I found was this:
Wrath is one of the seven deadly sins. By refusing to accuse Justine, Elizabeth avoided sin by avoiding expressing Wrath/anger.
Just an idea...

pride : satisfaction with your (or another's) achievements; "he takes pride in his son's success"
