thought crime

any one have a definition that they are using?... i was thinking possibly thoughts that contradict the status quo of a society or its government. for example, in 1984, thought crimes are any thought’s or actions that portray thoughts that might be in any way radical to the position of the gov, in this case that would include thinking too profoundly or acting abnormal..

what do you think?

Hey Danielle. This is my definition for thought crime. Don't copy it word for word though cuz I'm using it in my paper; any thoughts that may criticize or contrast the ideals of the party, Big Brother, or other governmental authority which are punishable offenses.
